Today our beautiful Shirley went to get her nails done at the usual Salon she goes to and a kind hearted soul named Joanna sat and chatted with us, at the end of her treatment she paid for nails and treated Shirley by paying her bill too 💅 🥺🥰

Meet Our Manager
I joined the Carebase family in 2017 after retraining in Health and Social Care. Caring for my father, who lived with dementia, showed me how much support families truly need, and I feel privileged to be able to use my personal experiences to help our loved ones while also creating new, positive experiences and moments of joy for our residents every day. I particularly love building meaningful relationships with each resident, getting to know their families, and supporting our team to provide compassionate care. I live by the motto, ‘If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way,’ because often it’s the little acts of kindness and love that matter most.

Ashbrook Court Care Home in Sewardstone, near Waltham Abbey is a purpose-built, 70-bed home providing nursing, dementia, residential, respite and day care. Part of what makes Ashbrook Court special is the skilled team members, many of whom have been part of our home for a number of years. This means residents are surrounded by familiar faces every day, people who truly know them and build trusted relationships.
With registered nurses on site 24 hours a day, Ashbrook Court is well equipped to support everything from residential care through to more complex nursing and dementia care. Our friendly day care service also supports older people in the local community.
