Food has a wonderful way of bringing people together and at Ashbrook Court, mealtimes are something to genuinely look forward to. Three home-cooked meals are served daily in our welcoming dining rooms, where the atmosphere is unhurried and sociable. Residents who prefer a quieter moment can enjoy meals in the comfort of their own room. Families are always welcome to join for lunch or dinner, and we love to mark birthdays, seasonal celebrations and cultural occasions with themed dinners full of great food and great company.

Our bistro is a café-inspired space where the coffee is always on and the cake is homemade. A place to settle in, catch up and simply enjoy the day, residents and families are welcome any time.

Balanced Nutrition & Hydration

Our chef knows that good food does more than nourish, it restores and brings people together. Every meal is prepared from seasonal ingredients, nutritionally balanced and tailored to individual needs. Whether supporting a resident recovering from illness, managing a specific dietary requirement, or helping someone living with dementia choose from beautifully presented dishes that stimulate appetite, food is always thoughtful and personal.

Days begin with a continental or full cooked breakfast. Three-course lunches follow, with hot, cold and lighter evening dinner options. Homemade cakes, snacks and drinks are available throughout the day because comfort and choice should never be limited to set mealtimes. Dining at Ashbrook Court is a social highlight where the pleasure of shared conversation and a good meal can be enjoyed in comfort.

Celebrating Together

We love marking birthdays and wedding anniversaries by making an extra special fuss of residents celebrating their special day. Our chef prepares personalised cakes based on favorite flavours and everyone joins in with the festivities. Families are always welcome and we can set up private dining celebrations in our cinema room, with our team creating delicious menus of your choice.

Dining Support

To support mealtime independence and enjoyment for our residents living with dementia, we reduce distractions and use contrasting tableware, adapted cutlery, cups, and glasses. Meals are attractively plated to show options and support choice, and for those who prefer not to sit for long, we offer nutritious, easy-to-eat options that can be enjoyed on the go.

The home is well run by management and nurses. Food is good with a variety of different dishes available. A variety of activities are offered and special days celebrated. Overall very happy! The reception staff always friendly and happy. Staff are happy to talk and help with any questions we may have. Lunch looks delicious. Hairdresser, maintenance, housekeeping, and activities, all fantastic. Nurses, always about to answer questions.
