You’ll become an invaluable part of our residents’ daily lives when you join Ashbrook Court Care Home in Sewardstone as our Activities Assistant.  You’ll host daily activities to accommodate our residents’ who all have different interests and hobbies.

Your role

As our Activities Assistant you will support the Lifestyles team with organising and hosting a whole variety of activities for our residents to create a fun and interesting environment for them.  You will also offer comfort and company on a one-to-one basis for any residents unable to undertake the activities.

Here’s some other important things you need to know:

  • You must be alert at all times to our residents’ physical and mental well being
  • Organise and accompany Residents, where possible, to off-site activities, which may occasionally take place out of normal working hours
  • Understand and ensure the implementation of the Care Homes Health and Safety policy, and Emergency and Fire procedures.
