Providing peace of mind for family and residents

At Ashbrook Court, nothing makes us happier than hearing that we have given a family back their peace of mind, knowing that their loved one is safe and happy.  In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their families in our anonymous annual survey. Their feedback is deeply valued and used to continually improve our service.

This is the heartwarming response to our 2021 survey.

Compassionate, personalised care

Our skilled team receives on-going training and support so they can provide the quality, compassionate care that residents deserve. 100% of loved ones felt that our team know residents’ needs and preferences well, and that members of our nursing care and management team are dedicated, vigilant and kind. One family member told us: “I am so very happy with the care my mum has received during her time at Ashbrook Court.” While another said: “Thank you for caring for my mum so brilliantly.”

Kindness, dignity and respect

100% of families said that residents are treated with kindness and compassion, dignity and respect and that they would be happy to recommend Ashbrook Court to a friend. One family member commented “my mum is happy and safe and well-looked after, that’s all that matters to me.”

A happy home

Our team curates a lively schedule of meaningful activities that encourage friendships and connections, which 100% of family and friends agreed makes our home a happy place. One respondent told us Ashbrook Court has “a very happy environment…could not ask for better!” We are proud that 94% of residents told us there is a family feel at Ashbrook and they are happy living here.

Safety during Covid-19

During the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been our number one priority to keep residents safe and families regularly updated, so we are delighted that 100% of families and friends agreed that staff have done all they can to keep residents safe during the pandemic.

100% also agreed that they have been kept up to date with any changes to their relative or friend during this unprecedented time. One family member told us: “The manager and staff are very caring, helpful and supportive to both my wife and myself.”  Another added that: “The wonderful caring staff and management are always approachable if we have any questions. I would, and have, recommended Ashbrook to other people.”
