Annual Survey

Providing peace of mind for family and residents

At Ashbrook Court, it always makes us proud to hear that our care has given a family back their peace of mind, providing reassurance that their loved one is happy and safe. In order to give the best possible care, we use a variety of ways to regularly gather feedback from our residents and those closest to them. We listen intently to our residents and their family members in our anonymous annual survey. We deeply value their feedback and it is used to continually improve our service.

This is the heartwarming response to our 2023/2024 survey.

Compassionate, personalised care

Our skilled team receives on-going training and support so they can provide the high-quality dementia care that residents deserve. We’re delighted that ten out of ten families feel the team provides the care residents need. One relative told us “The carers in the home are the best of the best. They are all fun loving and give the residents the best time. They truly are very lovely, so caring.”

Kindness, dignity and respect

100% of residents said that they are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. It is important to us that we extend the same support to families, so we were pleased that 96% of relatives said that they felt they could speak to senior management if they wished to, while 95% of residents said they are happy living here. One family member told us: “The staff are amazing. Never have I seen such caring, fun, kind and thoughtful people. Also the food served is amazing.”

A happy home

Our home encourages friendships and connections through a variety of meaningful activities. 95% of residents said they are supported to take part in activities and hobbies. One resident said: “It’s a nice place”.
