We believe that understanding how we are doing, means listening, reflecting, and hearing your views. Each year, we run a survey with our residents and families to hear directly from them: what we are getting right, and where there is room to grow. This allows us to keep improving and innovating, so we can continue delivering the highest standards of care our residents deserve. We are pleased to share the findings from our latest 2025/26 survey.
What Our Residents Say
The feedback from residents in our latest survey at Ashbrook paints a warm and positive picture of a home where people feel happy, safe and cared for. Every resident told us they are happy with the care and support they receive, 100% feel safe living at Ashbrook, and every resident said the home has a real family feel.
100% of residents told us the team is always available when needed and that they are treated with kindness, dignity and respect. This warmth shines through in their own words, with one resident telling us, “The staff are wonderful. There’s nothing more you could want for,” another sharing, “Everybody is nice, the staff are lovely and the food is excellent. There is always something happening,” and one simply saying, “I like it here, it’s lovely. I like having new friends.”
What Our Families Say
Families at Ashbrook gave equally positive feedback in our latest survey. Every relative confirmed they are happy with the care and support their loved one receives, with 100% believing the team is capable of providing the care their relative needs and that their loved one is treated with kindness and compassion.
Every family agreed that the quality of care is of the highest standard, and 96% confirmed the food meets their relative’s individual needs. Families also told us the home and gardens are clean, tidy and well maintained. The sense of community at Ashbrook clearly resonates with families, with one sharing, “The consistency of staff has meant that carers are familiar with my relative and she is clearly more settled,” and another telling us simply, “It is a pleasure to visit and be part of the Ashbrook community.”
