Meet our home manager,
Vicky Parsons

Vicky joined the Carebase family in 2017 having retrained in Health and Social Care, after a successful career in law. Her personal experience caring for her father, who lived with dementia, sparked a deep commitment to helping others on the same journey. She shares that she feels “truly privileged to support families through the challenges that can follow a dementia diagnosis and to help residents create new, positive experiences every day.”

Since joining Ashbrook Court in 2025, Vicky’s warmth, compassion and gentle leadership have been at the heart of our friendly home. She loves getting to know residents and their families, and she supports our entire team to deliver the thoughtful care that makes life here feel special.

Her guiding motto is, “If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way,” inspired by Napoleon Hill. Vicky explains that it is often the smallest acts of kindness that mean the most, ensuring each resident feels valued, understood and supported to enjoy the best quality of life.
Outside of work, Vicky finds relaxation on walks in Epping Forest with her beloved dogs. She also holds an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
